🔹 Product Description
Copper Clad Steel Wire
Copper Clad Steel CCS Wire:
We use cladding or plating craft to make copper around steel coils and create atom bonds between the two metals, so the products can be processed (annealing) as single metal. During drawing process, the diameters of copper and steel will change at the same rate and the percentage of copper volume keeps the same.

CCS wire can be divided into six types by conductivity: 15%CCS, 18%CCS, 21%CCS, 25%CCS, 30%CCS, 40%CCS. Available in two mechanical statuses: Annealed (A) and Hard drawn (H). Silver plated or tinned variations are available on demand.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Copper Clad Steel (CCS) wire?
CCS wire is a bimetallic conductor consisting of a steel core with a copper cladding, combining the high strength of steel with the electrical conductivity of copper through an atomic bonding process.
What conductivity options are available?
We provide several conductivity levels including 15%CCS, 18%CCS, 21%CCS, 25%CCS, 30%CCS, and 40%CCS to suit different electronic requirements.
What are the mechanical states of the CCS wire?
The wire is available in two mechanical statuses: Annealed (A), which is softer and more flexible, and Hard drawn (H), which offers higher tensile strength.
Which industries use these products?
Our wires are widely used in the manufacturing of resistors, capacitors, CATV coaxial cables, computer LAN networks, and various electronic component connectors.
What international standards do the wires meet?
The products are manufactured to meet global standards including JIS, GB, ASTM (B227, B452, B910), DIN, and BS4087.
What are the available packaging methods?
We offer flexible packaging including PP barrels, carton vacuum packing, PVC shafts, iron trays, and frame closing packing to ensure safety during transit.
