Product Description

Vascular Access Introducer Sheath Header

The device is intended for use in patients requiring the percutaneous retrieval of indwelling catheters, cardiac leads, fragments of catheter tubing or guidewire, and other foreign objects. It consists of a sheath, a dilator, a guide wire, an introducer, and a syringe. This product is used to insert blood vessels to establish percutaneous access to another device.

Note: All components that enter blood vessels are radiopaque.

Main Components

  • Sheath: Incorporates a 1-way valve and a 3-way stopcock connected by a side tube. Designed to be highly flexible and resist kinking. It can be used with catheters of the same size or up to two Fr sizes smaller without leakage.
  • Dilator: Features a precise fit within the sheath, allowing for simultaneous motion of both components.
  • Guide Wire: Features a super-elastic core wire with a smooth, hemorepellant surface coating to prevent kinking.
  • Syringe: 2.5ml standard syringe included.
  • Introducer: Comprises an inner metallic needle and a plastic cannula.
